SOUND DEVELOPMENT

LofiDogma wurde als Prototyp einer Sound Development Eigenproduktion konzipiert und 2007 ins Leben gerufen.

Das erklärte Ziel: ausgewählte Musikproduktionen wieder auf das Pure und technisch Notwendige zu reduzieren. Man wollte aufzeigen, dass durch die heutige Standardisierung von Mainstream-Produktionen zeitweise das Wesentlich vergessen geht - die 'wahre' und pure Musik.
Es wurden entsprechende Künstler ausgewählt und nationale, wie internationale Recordings in Staffeln in unterschiedlichen Städten durchgeführt.
Ein Song pro Tag wurde aufgenommen – 'dogmatisch' - mit dem Fokus auf Interaktion und Spontanität. Für die teilnehmenden Künstler eine aussergewöhnliche Möglichkeit sich auf die Essenz ihres Berufes zu konzentrieren. Das Musikmachen.

EPILOG
Nach inzwischen neun Jahren wird LofiDogma 2016 in dieser Form seitens Sound Development beendet.
Das grosse Engagement der Teilnehmer und Projekt-Partner Marc Bernegger, Philippe Laffer und Dani Hobi trugen massgeblich zur Qualität von LofiDogma bei.
Wir bedanken uns bei allen Beteiligten herzlich und hoffen, ein inspirierender, etwas aussergewöhnlicher Milestone auf dem Weg der Künstler gewesen zu sein.

LofiDogma was created in 2007 as a prototype of an in-house Sound Development production. The aim was to take selected music productions and strip them down to the bare technical essentials.

We wanted to show how today’s standardisation of mainstream productions sometimes leads to the basics – the ‘true’, pure music – being forgotten.

Appropriate artists were selected and national and international recordings were made in seasons in different cities.
One song per day was recorded – ‘dogmatically’ – with the focus on interaction and spontaneity. This was a remarkable opportunity for the participating artists to focus on the essence of their profession. Making music.

EPILOGUE
After nine years, in 2016 LofiDogma in its present form is being brought to an end by Sound Development.
The strong commitment of participants and project partners Marc Bernegger, Philippe Laffner and Dani Hobi made a key contribution to the quality of LofiDogma.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all participants and hope that we have been an inspiring and remarkable milestone in the career paths of the artists.
