In 2015, in collaboration with NORIENT, the concept of a one-off, international recording project to be carried out in the home towns of the respective artists was created.

Working together, two artists ᅵ 1+1 ᅵ each produced a contemporary track – a process that was documented by local journalists and experts and then performed live to a wide audience.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the participating artists and the project partner NORIENT for their good and intensive cooperation.
The music goes on for everyone, all the richer for a positive and remarkable experience.

Shing02: A CHAMELEON ON THE GO

Shing02 is known around the world as a multilingual rapper, but we found out that there’s much more than meets the eye when it comes to this mystic artist.

"If Shingo Annen, known as Shing02, were an animal I’m convinced he would be a chameleon. As a multilingual rapper, producer, director, illustrator and activist, Annen thrives off of anything that gives him room to be creative and hands-on."

A portrait by Jackie Perreira on the artists who collaborated with Salome Mc on the first season of 1+1, a worldwide recording project by Norient and Sound Development.
